In the project we are dealing with the production of herbaceous plants as energetic plants. During the plant production for energetic utilization it is important to calculate from the input side with the direct and indirect energy expenditures, from the output side the utilization of the residuals has to be taken into consideration as well. The importance of this statement is that the international data available can not be adapted directly in Hungary as for instance the yield calculated for rape is higher in the calculations of the various sources. Data collection was carried out in the first part of the research project, and the overview of the available technologies technological elements and energy needs for the calculations. The indirect inputs can be determined mainly based on site-specific measurements.
