In the reporting period the required database for the analysis and the data collecting system were set up. Through this system, it is possible to calculate the periodical income by yield class and target stand type.
The material, energy and living labour costs belonging to each operation have been collected by standard operation system for every target stand type.
The models were developed by tree species, because they essentially determine the occurring expenditures. The site potential represented by yield classes is, by current experiences, not worth to consider, because in practice it has almost no effects on the magnitude of expenses.
The forest harvesting input-output data surveys are covering the expenses on wood harvesting and timber transporting costs and the incomes. These data are: breast height diameter, harvesting contractor charges, assortment composition and assortment prices by tree species.
The timing of interventions (quality thinning, increment thinning, final harvest etc.) and the respective timber volume by yield classes were determined partly from the data survey, partly from the silvicultural models and yield tables.
